Rajinikanth has zeroed in on his villain in Rana! It is none other than Sonu Sood, who played the powerful baddie in Arundathi. His role in Chandramukhi has Oomaiyan was well-appreciated and he has several Hindi and Telugu films to his credit.
According to sources, Sonu’s role in Rana will be very important and meaty. Director KS Ravi Kumar decided on Sonu Sood as he felt only he could do full justice to the role and the Superstar immediately agreed to it, we hear.
Rana is said to be partly set in the historical era and it is known that the film is to be produced by Soundarya Rajinikanth.
