Rajinikanth out of ICU, vital parameters stable

Fans of the superstar can now heave a sigh of relief. Rajinikanth has been shifted out of the Intensive Care Unit and into a normal room. A press release from the Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre said the iconic actor had been shifted out of the ICU around 7 pm on Sunday.

“He is cheerful and is spending time with all the family members and is keenly watching a cricket match. His vital parameters are stable,” said the statement. Hospital authorities though refused to speculate on how much longer Rajini would have to stay at the hospital.

With the star’s vitals stable now, he may be discharged after a few days of observation. The press release also noted that no visitors would be allowed, as per doctors’ instructions.

Rajini is superfine!!

Now for all those of you who still had doubts regarding the health of our beloved Superstar, here is solid proof that all is well with the most sought after man in Kollywood.

This picture has been clicked recently and we can be positive that the Superstar has been responding well to the treatment as claimed by the medicos as well as his close family members.

The perturbed fans over the days have been offering prayers incessantly at temples and prayer halls throughout the state for their icon’s speedy recovery and with the prayers and goodwill of millions of fans across the globe the superstar is slowly but surely regaining his health.

Meanwhile the stars of Kollywood are doing their share of prayers for the superstar’s recovery. Actor-choreographer Lawrence Ragavendra is organizing a mass prayer at the Ragavendra Temple in Thirumulaivoyal near Ambattur today from 6.30 AM for the superstar to recoup soon. The prayer will be attended by the Nadigar Sangam president Sarath Kumar and Prabhu, along with many other stars, who will join the group to pray for the Robo(Enthiran) star. There will be ‘annadhanam’ after the prayer at noon.

Superstar's health improves

Doctors have confirmed that superstar Rajinikanth's health is now improving but he will still remain in the ICU for a few more days as a precautionary measure. His breathing has now stabilized, but doctors have advised complete bed rest.

On Friday, Calling him a 'superhero', Shah Rukh Khan prayed for the speedy recovery of Rajinikanth. "Suddenly felt awful yesterday while driving back from the match to know Rajini sir is unwell. He is our superhero...insha allah he will be well soon," Shah Rukh wrote on micro-blogging site twitter. "I was worried after hearing that Rajinikanthji is not well. So I called up her daughter and she says he is fine now. I wish speedy recovery for him," singer Lata Mangeshkar tweeted. It is known that Rajinikanth is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Sri Ramachandra Hospital in Chennai. The actor fell ill on the first day's shooting of his new film 'Rana' (The Monarch) last month. Adding to this, Veteran actor Dev Anand tweeted, "I pray for my dear Rajini's sound health and speedy recovery (sic)."
